Skype is one of the famous tool around that is used for online communication. There are numbers of reasons to choose Skype, but right now I am trying to help people who still have a slow connection and having issues using Skype because of its high bandwidth requirements for audio and video chat.
First of all check out the comparison between Skype and the software I am going to mention.
So it is clear that this software requires four time less bandwidth as compared to Skype. Here comes a question, will it compromise the video calling experience?
Well! if you ask me, NOT AT ALL. There is no lag or latency whatsoever. Audio and video are perfectly synced.
OK, time to use it. This software is called
VSEE, you can grab it from
here.
Low bandwidth requirements is not its only specialty, the other thing I like about this is its minimal design, unlike Skype and other similar programs that are cluttered with unnecessary tabs and menus, here you will only see what you will need. The main interface looks something like this.
That's not all, whatever you can do with your Skype, you can do it Vsee. Group video conference, instant messaging, file transfer and even share your desktop screen or application running. Read more about these features
here.
So you can get the same or should I say even better experience combined with minimal requirements you can imagine. All you need to do is create an account and start saving your resources.

Yeah, Skype isn't all that user-friendly on slow connections. Lately I've preferred RHUB's web conferencing servers b/c it's easy to use, and it has Web meeting capabilities as well as remote support all in one setup.
